"feeling invisible by NHS and Social Care"

I feel I am treated like a time waster by everyone. Despite being advised to seek medical advice when unwell asap I am made to feel this is wrong. Having several medical conditions does obviously I need more input. I think some of the so called professionals don't behave in a professional manner.

I have told social work I want direct payments to get help at home. They say they don't do this. My understanding Direct Payments are payments to give people what they need to help them manage. Additionally they expect people to agree to have operations without knowing for definite there will be support when they get home. If I struggle before my op then no sensible person would agree to this. They said the hospital would not let me home unless support was in place. I don't want to stay in one night but they want me to but I not putting my in situation where I am forced to stay longer.

The attitude of the professionals i have come into contact with has not been up to standard by medical staff or social care for a long time. Dr Weaver at Chalmers is good. Instead of informing me of options for help with housework and shopping they left me to struggle. NHS was supposed to be cradle to the grave care but they have forgotten the bit in middle for me.
