My father went to Wrightington Hospital for a simple knee operation. I believe that staff incompetence and lack of training killed my father. Previously he had a DVT which they seemed to totally ignore. They never gave my father TED stockings, Impulse pads or Flo-tron boots on the ward. He was also given the wrong diagnosis of a chest infection.
