After a dreadful experience with my GP surgery who offered nothing short of abrasive and inhuman amount of support, understanding and sympathy I was referred to Russell’s Hall Endocrinology Department.

This story is my huge thank you to the staff there and a special thank you to Dr Dale, thank you for caring enough to see my distress, how my symptoms were impacting and ruining my life, and my confidence.

Thank you for offering me a range tests to fully understand my complex autoimmune system, thank you for treating me as a person, an individual and with respect and dignity.

Thank you for recognising the wider impacts of my results and the emotional upset my diagnosis brought.

Thank you for caring enough to think about what I would need after my appointment with you, finding information that I could use to seek further support, to get me through a very difficult time.
