My mum was admitted as an emergency, due to a mini stroke. She was dealt with in A&E swiftly and efficiently. The doctors explained what was going on, and she was then whisked off to the William Drummond ward, where there was a bed ready. The care and kindness of all the nurses in that ward is absolutely fantastic. They are patient, kind, humorous and sympathetic where appropriate. It is treatment like this that is a credit to nursing and the NHS, and I can only thank them all from the bottom of my heart.
"Fantastic"
