I think it would be better if there could be an appointment list up on the notice boards in the servery 24hours prior to the appointment so that patients are aware of the time. Slips that are currently handed out the day before do not always get delivered and therefore some patients go to work/education/and are unaware that they should be in healthcare. I was unaware of a fasting blood test appointment and had something to eat and drink so my appointment had to be rearranged.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are continually looking at creative ways to ensure patients recieve their appointments slips on time and to avoid delay in interventions.
Your suggestion will be looked into further.
