as I write this my dad is on ward 1 c he arrived by ambukance the paramedics were fantastic dad is 87 and is having mobility problems and a chest infection we arrived at 10am and Ieft around 7pm it seemed a long day but while in ae dad had lots of tests then we were moved to a cubicle to wait for the doc who treated dad with respect.. then we had to wait for a bed on ward 1c I don't know the nurses name on the obs ward but she came in on her afternoon shift and introduced herself to athe patients and families.. when we arrived on ward 1c a lovely kind nurse settled dad in, she was so kind to dad and also treated him with dignity and kindness mum went to visit dad today and the nurse informed mum that she had helped dad to eat his breakfast and lunch .. the nhs gets pulled to bits I cannot fault whiston hospital thank you
