I suffered a stroke, the ambulance responded quickly and I was taken A&E at Derriford, the department was not busy but, it took over 40 minutes for me to be admitted for a scan. Time was wasted at a critical time!
The attention provided by Doctors (not nurses or HCA's), left a lot to be desired, there was an arrogant and non responsive attitude from doctors and their trainees.
The trainees following the Consultant around had a distinctly unprofessional manner.
