"Seventy mile trip for treatment worth the journey!"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

I chose to come to North Tyneside through choose and book to have key hole surgery for a Hysterectomy on 22nd Sept, due to low blood pressure occuring in recovery for a previous procedure in my local hospital, I was very nervous. The care and treatment from the consultant the anesthetics and all nurses in recovery and on the ward put me at ease and I felt in safe hands. I was in recovery for 3 hrs being monitored and they never left me. I am now back home and feel fine and relived it is all over. The staff are so so busy on Ward 7 and the other wards they look after, but just have to fly around and look after everybody's needs as far as feasibly possible. Thankyou

Dear Lynda, Can I thank you for choosing to come to North Tyneside Hospital for your care. I am delighted that you have had such a great experience. It is very reassuring to know that the whole team were able to put you at your ease and make you feel safe. We know just how important this is. I know the busy team on ward 7 will be delighted when they find out just how much you have valued the care attention they gave to you. I'm glad you never felt alone through it all. Good luck with your recovery at home and thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us. Best Wishes Annie
