I've had back pain for the last few years. This year I had an X-ray and was told by the GP that the pain was caused by arthritis. Another GP said it was Lumbago. I was sent to Wythenshawe Hospital where I saw someone in orthopedics. He said I'd got Stenosis and sent me for physiotherapy. I had exercises for two weeks and then I saw a different physiotherapist at Wythenshawe who gave me traction for three weeks.
The back pain has got worse since then so I've been given exercises to do again. I've got a couple more visits left. If this doesn't work they'll send me for acupuncture.
The physiotherapists are really nice.
