When I was at the hospital, in the Gledhow Wing on the 9th floor I was not checked in correctly, never given a bracelet to identify me, not started on anitbiotic until almost 24 hours after my arrival and saw a doctor occasionally and on the day I was to be discharged I had to seek one out to find out what was going on. When I was discharged, no direction or outside directions on how was My ulcerated tow was to be cared for and no appts made to follow up with the diabetic foot clinic were made other than one for over a week away. Event though I requested a sick note to be prepared so it would arrive to my employer when required (I requested it for three days and a number of time throught each day (and my husband also inquired), one was not prepared and I got into bother with my company and will be facing a disciplinary hearing because of it. It has all been very sloppy job and because of it, I could loseanother toe. Shoukd that happen, I will be filing suit for this toe and the first toe I lost.
