I visited blyth hospital today to have a 24 hr blood pressed monitor. I feel I must comment on how amazing all of your staff are, from receptionists, health care to the nurses. After spending many years in other hospitals (freeman, rvi and general) visiting my father suffering from terminal cancer I have been left with a very poor opinion of nhs staff. But today however I feel it has been restored. Every person I came across today were friendly, helpful and professional. Unfortunately the equipment didn't work properly and I had to return later in the day. Where as I could of be left feeling annoyed at yet another mishap with the nhs, your staff displayed genuine compassion for my situation and I left feeling like yes it is just one of those things that can happen. I think your hospital could teach a lot to the so called specialist hospitals. It was so good to see that good, caring and compassionate nursing care still exists, not only with a few of the team, but all of the team. Thanks again
"Exceptional staff"
