First of all, what a breath of fresh air it is just walking into this new treatment centre, beautifully designed, a well planned layout, spotlessly clean, plenty of room in the toilets, plus you are given a pager that will alert you when your prescription is ready whilst you have a cuppa.
The endoscopy unit:
Again lovely environment, good reception handling process, it's a pity most of the patients look miserable.
I was not 100% confident with the nurse carrying out my endoscopy, she seemed to struggle obtaining biopsies because I have a small internal pouch that replaced my diseased colon. I believe because of my complications that a doctor should have carried out this biopsy procedure.
Summary: well done the NHS!
"Lovely endoscopy unit at the new Nottingham QMC treatment centre"
