"Excellent and detailed consulation"

About: Shropshire and Staffordshire Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

The referral letter to my GP took 19 days instead of the 7 days which was what I was told-

The consultation was excellent & detailed- Not the normal 5-10 minutes one usually expects these days!

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent referral.

I am sorry to hear that you had to wait longer than anticipated to be contacted by TRAQS. However, TRAQS can only process your referral from the date it is received from your GP - this may the cause of the delay you refer to, however, as Patient Opinion is anonymous I am unable to look into your concerns further at this point.

I am pleased to note that you consider the consultation you received was excellent and time was taken to ensure that you were not rushed.

If you would like someone to look into the reasons for the delay please contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
