Recently I had to attend the Montagu Hospital for a foot operation. Obviously I was nervous, but the going for the pre-op was great as I saw where I would be going and met some of the staff who were very friendly but very informative. Meeting staff, doctors and anaesthetists before the actual operation was very reassuring.
The care I received was excellent; booklets contact numbers follow up from the ward were given. The next morning was great as I was made to feel like an individual in an obviously busy environment. Another thing I thought was good was the screening for MRSA.
The NHS gets a lot of criticism but my experience was outstanding and deserves to be praised from cleaners up to consultant Mr Fadel and everyone who worked as a team. Thank you.
