My appointment was in early August 2014 with Mr Perkins, Orthopaedic Consultant. Appointment time was 10:20 am, I was seen within 15 minutes. Mr Perkins examined my right knee and said I needed a total replacement.
The procedure was fully explained in a friendly manner, saying that the operation would be done within three months. Further X-rays were done, I was then allowed to go home.
The whole appointment went very smoothly.
