"Broomfield Hospital: Thank You"

Thank you to the doctors, nurses and all staff on Ward B4.

I recently had a five night stay, and the ward doctors were very considerate and did everything they could to keep patients informed and well-treated. The standard of nursing care was excellent throughout, although at times the staffing levels were clearly inadequate. The nurses remained professional at all times and did the best they could for the patients.

I really believe that hospital managers take this level of professionalism for granted - the nurses in particular were clearly under pressure, and I really think greater effort should be made to cover staff illnesses / shortages.

The standard of cleanliness was good, with plenty of hand washing facilities around the ward and at every bed. Even the food was of a good standard, with regular supplies of tea and refreshments.
