The treatment:
Gave me the push I needed to tackle some long standing emotional issues.
Gave me structured techniques for challenging my negative and often irrational thoughts
The therapist:
Instilled some confidence in myself and my abilities which I struggled to see before
Was patient, listened to me and encouraged a two-way conversation
Genuinely wanted to help me which made me feel valued in what is evidently a high volume treatment service
Changes:
To treatment locations needed I travelled a fair way to get treatment (7 miles) rather than wait for an appointment nearby, other people may not be able to travel and their wait would be longer.
