I have had eight radiotherapy sessions as an outpatient and was dealt with very promptly and sympathetically. There were two minor operations (Hickman Line) which again were handled well despite a small "glitch" which was fully explained. There followed six months of chemotherapy via tablets taken at home plus monthly visits tot he hospital for blood tests and checkups. All uncertainties and worries were dealt with quickly, usually via the telephone. One last "big blast" of chemotherapy plus a stem cell transplant was carried out over two weeks as an in-patient. The wards were very clean and the nursing was excellent. All in all a very positive experience and many thanks to all involved.
"A very positive experince"
