About: Wansbeck Hospital

I was booked in for a tubal tie on the day surgery ward 15 and from the member of staff booking in to the anesthetist to the doctor and the theater and recovery staff my experience was exceptional. My only criticism would be the length of time i was kept in the recovery room despite all the calls the staff made to the ward to come and get me. I would really like to thank the anesthetist for their time and patience putting a drip in as my veins are not very good.

Thanks too for your feedback about the delayed return to your ward from recovery. I am sorry that we you had an unnecessarily long wait and I know the team will want to reflect on how they can improve this. As someone who also finds it difficult to give blood I have every sympathy with you - I'm glad the anaethetist gave all the patience you needed to insert a drip effectively. Best Wishes Annie
