After discharge from Stoke Mandeville hospital I needed a dressing change each day on an Abscess Drain wound.
Talk about 'Team Work' - they arrived each day and even when a different nurse the 'Blue Book' contained notes from the previous visit, the treatment regimen, my general health etc. so hand over was seamless. Each and every Nurse was excellent - even the two days when a trainee was brought. I was asked if I minded is she attended to me, she was knowledgeable and well supervised. Her first experience of removing stitches - explained how to draw the stitch so that the exposed length is not drawn though the wound.
Sorry to come to the end of the treatment - Thank you very much
"Excellent teamwork"
