"Trying to find out results of skin biopsy"

(as the patient),

I had a core punch biopsy done on my nose to confirm if I had basal cell carcinoma. After eight weeks, I still hadn't heard anything. I phoned up the clinic, gave my details and the lady said that someone would ring me next day about it. Nobody rang the next day, following day I rang again. I wish I had asked who I was speaking to, after giving my details also about biopsy on nose, she said I needed to speak to someone who had just stepped away to power their nose.

I phoned again next day, I told lady at the clinic what had been said to me, she said they did not have anyone who would have said that. My mistake was, I should have asked each time who exactly I was speaking to.

I was told I would get a letter, it came about six days later, it was good news, I did not have skin cancer. I was happy with that, I just don't think the interaction between myself and the staff I spoke to on the phone was good. I would not like to go back there, I am disabled and in a wheelchair.
