I had my second epilectic seizure while at work. An ambulance took me in. In the course of my falling, I both dislocated and broke my humerus (upper arm).
I was lucky to be treated quickly. They did surgery to put my humerus back in its shoulder joint, and to screw the broken bone together.
My only complaint is that even though I asked repeatedly to see the neurologist, I was discharged without having seen him/her. Since this is my second seizure, I need anti-seizure medication.
I will see my GP this week, and get a referral to a neurologist. It would have been nice to have had the epilepsy treated when I was at the hospital.
