Last week we had our third child delivered safely at the midwife led unit at Hexham general hospital, and I cannot rate the unit or the staff highly enough. The care we have received for every birth, and the 2-3 nights aftercare has always been outstanding. The unit is clean and well run, and the facilities are excellent. I have always felt well looked after and as rested as you could be after having given birth. Thanks to all the midwives and support staff.
