"Thank you so much, you are all stars"

We have spent a lot of time in Ward 35 over the last week with a relative who unfortunately passed away today. I would just like to pass on our thanks to all the staff on this ward, both day and night, who made us comfortable, took time to understand who we all were and made our brother as comfortable as possible in his last hours. On many occasions all staff went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate us and keep us updated on changes. We are a big close family and they took care of us all. We will remember your kindness and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are a credit to the hospital

I live some distance away from the hospital and was forced to return to Lincoln on Sunday. Unfortunately our brother passed away before I could return on Tuesday (today), but the hospital called us and asked what time we would be arriving and would we like to see him before he left the hospital. I was not expecting this level of consideration and it was greatly appreciated.
