About: Raigmore Hospital / North of Scotland Breast Screening Centre

(as the patient),

About a month ago I went to my Dr when I suspected a lump in my breast. She contacted the centre in Inverness. Within 2 weeks I had an appointment for a biopsy and 2weeks later I have had a lumpectomy and 2 sentinal lymph nodes removed.

I cannot praise the Doctor and nuses enough in the clinic I went in dreading the news and they were so caring and understanding I came away almost cheerful. The consultant and his surgical team yesterday were also very professional and treated me like a person not a: 'CASE: '

I jokingly told the consultant I would be giving him feedback stars

Well sir you have 5 xxxxx not 4 for your services to needlework. Thank you every one for making what could be a dreadful experience very tolerable!

What an emotional roller coaster you have been on but it is really good to hear that you feel you have been well looked after. I have shared your feed-back with the consultants and asked them to share more widely. I am not sure who your consultant was but on behalf of the team Mr Ian Daltry had this to say:

"I am pleased it was a positive experience and grateful for the kind words. We always aim to treat every patient as a individual person and so I am very happy she is pleased with the outcome."
