I was taken to Nightingale ward after a series of tests, culminating with ct scan, that revealed a few blood clots on my lungs plus one mean little bugger wrapped around the pulmonary side of my heart.
From that Friday evening to two weeks later I was treated with kindness, respect and, I thought, sometimes above expected levels of professionalism!
The combined effort of all staff, from doctors, nurses et al. saved my life, and, at every possible chance kept me informed as to what was happening.
