"Being a patient "

About: Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre New Stobhill Hospital (Glasgow) NHS Scotland West Scotland Breast Screening Centre

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in late Summer 2013, I work within diagnostics in NHSGGC. I was treated rapidly and professionally and throughout my journey each area of care was outstanding. Stobhill breast care team, my surgeon Mrs McLean, my breast care nurse Lena , Ward A @stobhill. My oncologist's, my oncology nurse Vichy, and Rhanne, and base three of the Beatson, my radiotherapy radiographer who so made each day a pleasure to return for radiotherapy for 21 days. My colleagues who supported me through a very difficult time. I am proud to be part of this origination and the staff that work hard to achieve a high standard of care.
