I suffered from a severe case of cellulitis and unfortunately was left with lymphedema of my right leg. It took a long time to be referred to the service as because I lived in the east riding of Hull and not Hull there was no clinic for me. I was fortunate to be accepted in to the Hull Clinic whereby I received excellent service.
I am now back at work and I am booked in for some appointments for massages on my leg (machine) which I hope will reduce the swelling. Suitable and flexible appointment times, easy parking, friendly staff who have excellent knowledge and experience of my condition only added to my relief of having the opportunity to move on in my life.
I feel access should be for all regardless of where you live. I have worked full time all my working life and paid in to the NHS. I wanted to get back to work a. s. a. p. The nurses and the clinic have given me this opportunity. I came away with a clear plan of action! Thankyou
