What I liked

I had a scheduled colonoscopy at the RHCH. I received an excellent package in advance, with clear and simply expressed directions and advice. I was received by a smiling receptionist and given a thorough and friendly briefing by the Staff Nurse. The procedure was not very pleasant but I was properly sedated and made as comfortable as possible; everything reflected calm and controlled efficiency.

Afterwards I was checked regularly to see that I was comfortable. I was given a very comprhensive report on what they had found and what action they had taken.At my request the staff arranged a taxi home and took me down to meet it.I cannot speak too highly of the department concerned: furthermore this experience mirrors what happened last time I was there. I am grateful for what they did and have every confidence that they have done a good job. Fortunately they found nothing sinister.

What could be improved

It is good as it is.
