My 85 year old mother had a fall and was not found for 2 days. She had not been taking her medication.
She was very frail and confused when she was admitted to Brearley 7 NGH. Within the short space of a week my mum had been treated with great care and made fantastic progress. She is always clean and has clean clothes on day and night.
When she wants to lie down it is no trouble for any of the staff. There is a constant flow of tea from a wonderful tea lady. All patients are encouraged to enjoy regular drinks.
The spotless, well organised ward has a very pleasant atmosphere and pleasantries between patients and staff continued all day. Visitors were treated with the utmost respect and always greeted with a smile. All questions are answered.
The staff on this ward work so hard and are totally amazing.
"Exceptional care for my mother on ward Brearley 7"
