Last Friday 16th May I suffered a major heart attack whilst at work in Alford. The ambulance crew who attended and stabilised me called in the Ambucopter. The crews on both the ambulance and Ambucopter were superbly competent, reassuring myself and family in a very distressing situation. The transfer of forty miles to Lincoln took 20mins! I was immediately transferred and was successfully fitted with a new stent. The speed and the caring treatment I received was truly awesome and I have no doubt that you saved my life, thank you from the bottom of my (renovated) heart. I was transferred to Johnson ward where I received over a 48hr period the most excellent nursing care . The way the staff explained the treatment to each other (and patients) on shift changes was very impressive and very reassuring. Please forgive me for being so anxious to leave your magnificent care. Thank you everybody!
