My 7 year old son began being sick about 2 years ago. It developed to a stage where he was being sick approx. 30 times a day and having severe stomach aches as well. He was tested very thoroughly but everything always came back clear.
As it continued, it meant it was very hard to get my son to school and do extra activities and life became very difficult for all family members. However, our Consultant at the Borders General Hospital never gave up with my son. She has been a tower of strength and also the school nurse assigned to us helped get us through this very difficult time. After a very long period of many different types of tablets and medical examinations we tried a few foods diet. For a small boy to only be allowed 8 foods for a period of time is very hard but almost immediately our son transformed into a well and happy boy again. We are still going through the diet but we are seeing amazing results. I basically wanted to say thanks to the Consultant, school nurse and dietician involved who have continued to support us. It has been appreciated by all our family.
