I was recently a patient on the women's health unit under the care of a doctor for surgery. When I was told I needed surgery I was apprehensive about coming to Tameside due to all the bad press. My fears were unfounded. From my first clinic appointment to my follow up appointment I can honestly say that the care I received was excellent. I was given a surgery date at my first appointment which I didn't expect. Everyone I came into contact with from nurses on the Women's Health Unit, theatre staff, anaesthetist , Ward Drs and domestic staff, we're brilliant, I was made to feel comfortable and confident in the care I received. The nursing staff were very caring and hard working. I would be grateful if you could share my comments with all the staff.
