My grandmother is currently in hospital at the Norwich and Norfolk NHS hospital. She has had absolutely outstanding care. She has had to have a major operation and be in bed care for a couple of weeks. I just cannot commend the hospital enough. Everything I've seen, they've done well.
The waiting times for things like operations and nurses is really good. The staff are all genuinely caring and really knowledgeable. I find it amazing how a group of people can be genuinely caring and considerate when this is the thing they do day in day out!
Whoever organises the beds does a great job, as well from what I see, and the facilities are all excellently maintained. The cleanliness standards are extremely good as well, my grandmother had MRSA a couple of years back and this is handled really considerately both with her and the other patients (this does mean that we have to wear gloves and apron when we visit though).
In conclusion, I just want to say a really big thank you for all you are doing at the hospital and its another reason why I love Norfolk so much! I know the media slate the NHS a lot, but I frankly do not see this, what I see is a well oiled, considerate cornerstone of our society. Thank you.
"Excellent care for my Grandmother in Hospital"
