What I liked
Some staffs were help full.
What could be improved
My draughter (2.5 years old) had a fracture on the finger. We took her to Accrington A&E, where we received good care in reasonable time. We reached black burn hospital at around 6:00pm. Orthopaedic register came after 3 hours. Wound was opened and examined several time and got dresses around 11:45pm. We got bed at 12:30pm (there were empty bed in the ward). We have been told the operation will be on next day around 9:30am, but happened around 11:00am. On the day of discharge we waited 6hours for medicine from pharmacy!!. It looked like there a lack of coordination between departments.
Anything else?
The processes need to be coordinated and hospital management, process controls & measures require improvement
