I have attended the New Victoria since August last year. From initial diagnosis I have received professional skilled care and management throughout. Breast surgery, oncology assessment completing chemotherapy and now going through radiotherapy.
During chemotherapy I was very unwell on several occasions, which resulted in me attending A&E at Victoria. I was admitted twice and had to have bloods, ECG, chest x rays checked on at least five or six times. I can't thank the staff enough for all the care I have received from a multitude of disciplines.
I think staff have a very difficult job and do not receive the enormous praise they deserve for the increasing demands of the general public and their managers, who seem to be looking for faults all the time. You are all my heroes! I will, when I finish treatment, write to each department individually.
