I was told i had bladder cancer while overseas, came home complete with scans and reports, went to my GP and told make appointment to see surgery nurse. Doctor did not even look at scans and reports even after i asked her to. Contacted Clatterbridge myself and it was out in a few days. Scarred at first but worries eased when explained to me what could be done, it was a serious tumor but they got it out. BCG followed for 1 1/2 years every 3 months, started with 6 shots, then 3 now down to 1. Cannot fault the consultant and his staff. Nurses etc down to the lovely ladies who give you your tea and toast I say thank you. One thing I must comment in the negative is the paperwork, at the beginning things got lost, appointments cancelled, or appointments made and when you get there it is not what you were going in for, they got it sorted tho. Must be a nightmare trying to get it all straight for the thousands of people that pass thru the hospital. Rober Neil
