I arrived at a and e by ambance in severe pain, I have had two babies and the pain was worse than labour. I was put in a room and left with no pain relief no buzzer, I was in so much pain I couldn't move when the nurse came I asked for pain relief she said I needed to wait for a doctor, when I asked how long this would be she said "there are really poorly people in here you know" the door to the room was open I was left with my legs uncovered needing the toilet for 40 mins before anyone came to see me. No buzzer and couldn't move! I was telling them how much pain I was in and I couldn't move no one cared acted like they didn't believe me zero communication skills no empathy or listening going on. I ended up calling my husband to collect me after been given pain killers as I was dumped in a room with two nurses who didn't care and acted as if I was making it up. I might also add I have never needed to visit a and e in my life and the time when I really needed it had the worst care ever. My head will be hanging off before I visit again!!!!
