There are not enough toilets in the public areas, i.e. outpatients and main entrance halls.
Also, with current uniform styles, it is too easy for nurses to look untidy, i.e. baggy trousers trailing on the ground and a variety of dusty looking shoes. It seems that the dark colours can conceal dirt. I know functional outfits are safer for handling patients and equipment. Also, hair is usually tied back but the bits trailing around the face leads to frequent handling and therefore contamination.
I think nurses look like B&Q warehouse staff. I suggest looking at the staff of ‘Boots’ the chemist.
