"Excellent Care"

My 85 year old Father and I were visiting my sister at her caravan in Rothbury when my Father took ill. The senior nurse at the Rothbury Community Hospital was able to see my Father immediately and conducted a range of tests including an ECG. He then arranged for an ambulance to transport him to Wansbeck. Whilst waiting for the ambulance staff provided us with refreshments and what appeared to be home made cakes. Everyone was extremely friendly and we couldn't have asked for better treatment. A real credit to the NHS.

Dear Susan, I'm really sorry to hear that your father took ill during his stay at Rothbury - i do hope he is feeling much stronger now. Thank you so much for finding the time to share your thoughts on the care received at the Minor injuries unit at the Community Hospital. I am delighted to hear how impressed you were with the quality of the service and I will ensure your kind words are passed on to the staff involved. They'll be really pleased to know just how much you appreciated their warmth, friendliness and homemade cakes. Your recommendation of care means a great deal. Thank you. With all best wishes to your father as he recovers, Annie
