Dreadful experience. Due to uselessness of doctors and absurd criteria, my child waited almost 2 years to have straightforward grommets put in. In this time he developed a serious speech and language delay. At one point we were even discharge half-way through his appointments and assessments. We had already waited 2 years to even be referred to the hospital - so almost 4 years in total. Disgraceful. Now one grommet has fallen out and we are about to embark on the same fiasco.
