"Grasmere Unit is the best I've come across"

About: Knowsley Resource & Recovery Centre / Ward T2 (Grasmere Ward)

(as the patient),

I was on the ward for two days and I have to say that the staff were amazing.

Especailyy Melanie she was really understanding.

I was then transferred to another unit but I must admit even thoight I didnt want to be in there its been the best unit I have come acrross.

Thanks for taking the time to give us such wonderful feedback. It's been passed on to the team, including Melanie, and they're all really pleased to hear that they were able to meet your needs and provide the support you needed to help you through your difficult time.

Part of my role is to help staff across the Trust improve services by learning lessons from when thing go wrong and also, importantly, to help share examples of when things go well. This is why I’m contacting you. I would like to find out more about your experiences on Grasmere, why you thought it was so good and what Melanie did that makes you appreciate her so much. I’d then like to share what you say with other wards and staff teams as examples of good practice and how we can make a positive difference to people in our service.
