"Richard's 'heart felt' thanks."

About: Castle Hill Hospital

My initial feelings of anxiety were swiftly overcome due to the friendly team, all of whom were introduced to me. I was able to experience a ward that was spotless with a warm and friendly atmosphere, which made a huge difference to my '5-day ward' experience. At my pre-assessment I was fully involved in all aspects of my forthcoming procedure. From that came about my admission. I was most impressed with being visited by my surgeon who came in to introduce herself and to inform, ask and re-check that I was comfortable with all aspects of my visit. The procedure itself, although a 'first' for me, was not at all daunting - I was kept fully informed of all intended activity. Afterwards in the '5-Day ward' I was looked after by a nurse in what I can only describe as 'uber-professionalism'. Once home...I have no side-effects, no problems...just warm thoughts of a wonderful team...who are 'close to my heart' in more ways than one. Thank you all of you. Richard.
