I have benefited from the wonderful care by Oxford Area Health services for most of my 82 years so that consequently I'm still around to get continued first class care ( the growing problem of the vicious circle of extended demands by the elderly on the services !) Last year I received successful treatment for cataracts and an abdominal aortic aneurysm. The skills of the surgeons is absolutely first class, and this was matched by the nursing and many specialist staff involved and the administration. I was particularly grateful for the documents sent before the appointments that explained what to expect before and after treatment. This was followed by friendly, personal greeting from every one who dealt with me - offering every opportunity to ask questions. While the NHS is clearly under great pressure these days, my experience is of a very professional, caring staff at every level. Thank you so much.
"Unqualifed praise"
