I attended this hospital recently. My appointment time was 11.25 and I arrived in plenty of time. There was a notice up to say clinic was delayed by 30-40 minutes. Not good. After a while I noticed this had changed to 50-60 mins. 60 minutes passed and I was still waiting. I had to leave then because I had left my grand-daughter at home unwell and I couldn't leave her any longer - especially since I travel on the bus. On my last visit to the same clinic, there was a delay of over an hour and I left because my brother was terminally ill and I was going from there straight to Guys hospital. I do think that it would be much better if an actual person came to say what the delay is about, rather than a notice on board. I spoke to one of the staff I know and was told that this was a regular occurrence. I do not want to come back to this clinic and see this consultant, I would rather see a more junior doctor who would make an effort to see patients a lot nearer to their appointment time. This was a dermatology appointment.
