I was admitted last year for a procedure, and after the care I received I did not want to ever go back to YDH. I did not raise a complaint as I was too traumatised. After meeting with my consultant initially, I shared this feeling with him and it was only thru his guarantee and professional behaviour that gave me the confidence to return. I attended the hospital this morning @ 7am for a procedure that I was extremely nervous about. There was a little hiccup, however the care, kindness, consideration, individualism, respect was absolutely fantastic from 99% of the team today. From Theatre Admission, to the Anesthetise , to wonderful kind lady that was present throughout my recovery , to the lovely nurse in ward 7a. At all times the above always kept me informed, answered my questions in a very positive and certainly knowledgeable way that gave me confidence in their capabilities. The Consultant: a highly skilled, yet down to earth consultant that took responsibility for me, and made me feel at ease. As I marked only fairly satisfied on staff co-operation and dignity was for a nurse that definitely did not share the professionalism of the above. However I do not want to take away from my praise for the others
"Thank you"
