What I liked
This is a brilliant hospital and it is the only NHS establishment I have been to where I feel that the values of respect and choice are fundamental to their work. The treatment is for the whole person and does not just treat a "sick" part of you. As a result the treatment brings about a high level of well-being and a sense of being treated as a whole. The treatments are very effective and bring about good health and well-being. I am very angry that other people I know cannot access this service on the NHS because their PCTs have arbitrarily decided that it is not worth the money. I think they need to assess the true costs of treatment verses the potential costs of surgery etc. that is far more expensive and not always very successful! All the doctors working at the Homeopathic Hospital are NHS qualified doctors who have chosen to practice homeopathy - it is a quality service.
What could be improved
Nothing except greater access for all and more services around the country.
Anything else?
It is very sad that it is not open to all as it is very effective and a wonderful service. It could be used as a model of respectfully working with patients for the rest of the NHS!
