About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

feel as if I have been beaten over upper torso throat very sore, upper and lower jaw, neck likewise. had the procedure many times before, nothing like these symptoms.

Dear Mr Dunn

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us and I am sorry to hear that you found the procedure so uncomfortable on this occasion.

I have spoken with the department sister and she has said this can sometimes happen if the patient is more anxious than normal. As we don’t have any other details of your appointment it would be difficult to give more precise feedback about your procedure, however the ward sister would be happy to investigate any other factures leading to your discomfort during this appointment if you would like to provide your details via our PALS department on 01202 714886.

Once again I apologise for the discomfort caused and I hope it soon passes.
