In my opinion this hospital would be better of knocked down and save the patients the heartache of visiting a useless and unprofessional 'hospital'. My mother in law was admitted with gastro and found herself in a ward where nursing assistants were disposing of urine down the sink, purely wiping up spills from vomit with a tissue and there were no signs of any proper cleaning and disinfecting. With the Noro virus making it's rounds presently you would think the hospital might take cleanliness a little more seriously. I also believe it's a serious OH&S issue when urine is being tipped down a sink! Then when she was discharged the discharge notes made no mention of gastro but instead referred that she had memory problems... mmmm how is it that vomiting and diarrhea is a symptom of memory problems??
