I had a Consultation with Wing Commander Hope who decided it was best for me to have Grommets and some things done to my nose, which I cant spell.
On the day of my surgery I was sat in Freedom Unit, where I seen the anesthetist who explained what is going to happen. Wing Commander Hope came and asked me if I had any more questions, which I didn't as then was told to wait and id have the surgery soon.
Once I went in to get changed the lady who was there to help was brilliant from the start to end, she helped me into the surgical stockings and then asked me to go into the waiting room, she answered a couple questions we had and was such a help. Then a lady came out who was going to be there when I went under asked me a couple question and then we went into the room where I was going to be put under, she stayed there with me while I was put to sleep.
When I was woken up there was a man there who helped me wake up and helped me through it, then once he was happy I was O. K and gave me a pain killer, then moved me to recovery stage two. Where the lad who woke me up, Sam I believe his name was, got me something to drink and eat and made sure I was o. k.
After that the lady who discharged me was brilliant made sure I knew everything I needed to know and had everything I needed and help me out.
Id like to say a massive thank you to everyone from the reception to being put under to recovery, From start to end you were all amazing.
THANK YOU.
